The Nissan Frontier is an oldie but a goodie. Even though its last marketed update (before this one) was in 2004, it was still running through the U.S. market. Now that Nissan is releasing the newest version, they have a stable market to back them up even after all this time. In 2018, the Japanese were able to sell 79,000 units. Now, that’s a notable number in just one country.

The new generation Frontier will have a 3.0-liter V6 engine that could give around 300 horsepower. That’s a significant difference from the prior 152-horsepower 4-cylinder and 261-horsepower 4.0L V6 engines.

2. Jeep Gladiator

The new Jeep Gladiator is now out and ready for the taking! However, the latest version is still keeping its predecessor’s distinguishing features. Like the well-known Jeep Wrangler, the Gladiator will have a fold-down windshield and a removable top and doors.

Its power is also evident in the engine. Firstly, the base version is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that gives off 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. If you don’t think that’s enough power, there’s an option of a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 with 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the second option of a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 produces 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.

This truck seems like a dream for the adventure-seeking, off-roading consumer.

3. Ford Ranger Raptor

The new Raptor has upped its rough terrain abilities, making it the best version of the Ranger for off-roading. Europe and Australian consumers will be getting a Raptor with a 20-liter twin-turbocharged diesel I4 engine while Raptors in the U.S. will likely have a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. In other words, U.S. residents might have the advantage of obtaining a better version of the Raptor.

You can get all the base features, plus a 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive setup for more or less $25,00, a reasonable price for the quality you’re bound to get.
